Raising Bordoodle Puppies | Health Testing

2J 2K Bordoodle puppies are from AKC registered Border Collies and Standard Poodles out of medium drive lines and make excellent active family dogs. Our Bordoodles are medium size ranging from 35-45 pounds. They come home with a vaccination record, a health certificate issued by our licensed veterinarian, a health guarantee, a microchip, a starter leash and collar, a toy, a Snuggle Puppy, treats, one-month free insurance, a blanket, and a sample of their current high-quality puppy food.

2J 2K sires and dams are DNA genetically health tested for the full Border Collie and Standard Poodle panel with Paw Print Genetics. We also certify hips, elbows, eyes, patellas, and heart with OFA, PennHip, or both. We select our parent dogs based on temperament, health, and structure. We are an AKC Bred with HEART breeder!

2J 2K Bordoodle puppies are raised in our home from the day they are born until they leave for their new home. The puppies are loved on, petted, picked up, and played with, often throughout the day. We expose them early to household noises (vacuum, etc.), other dogs, children, different floor textures, sights, sounds, people, and more. We love watching the puppies play in their tunnels, sleep in their soft puppy beds, and play with their many, and varied toys. All of this makes them enjoyable well-rounded, social puppies. With the puppies raised in the house, they get a lot of attention!

Bordoodle Puppy Training | Coat Colors

For early training, we use ENS, ESI, Avidog, and Puppy Culture methods. The puppies start enrichment activities with our BAB Advanced Puppy Curriculum. We further our education as breeders by attending classes and seminars.

Potty training is started at two weeks old. Beginning at this age helps the puppies with future potty training and transitioning into their new homes. We begin crate training, nail clipping, bathing, grooming, and short drives in the car.
